Welcome!
Hello! My name is Jake and I'm currently a first year computer science student at the university of Portsmouth. I'm a 19 year old aspiring games and software developer. I hope you'll take this opportunity to learn a bit about who I am and what I've been up to!
Background & Goals
From September 2023 to June 2025, I studied BTEC Level 3 Information Technology and A-Level Computer Science at Godalming College. I had a blast getting to use different pieces of software and languages so I decided to join Portsmouth University starting september 2026 after a gap year working as an IT technician at Godalming College, a selective role that isn't offered to many students!
More About Me
Featured Project
Bacteria Beatdown
An educational game I created for my BTEC IT course in college, designed to teach players about the role of white blood cells in the human body. Players control a white blood cell defending against bacterial infections, using platelets to stop bacteria appearing from cuts. Designed entirely with custom-made pixel art assets and procedural spawning mechanics.
